From its commanding position above the golden sands, Mount Severn manages to match this superb position with a home that is truly out of this world. Entering the home from the almost unassuming frontage, you are drawn through this impeccably finished property to the perfectly framed view of the coastline and sea. Offering six bedrooms and luxurious indoor/outdoor reception areas over two floors, Mount Severn provides ample accommodation for the owners and their guests. To the side of the large terrace at the rear, you also find another superb selling point: the heated infinity pool. The privacy offered by the woodland that surrounds the home is coupled with direct access to a footpath leading not just to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, but also to the beach below. This remarkable property superbly combines both its setting and its accommodation to offer a simply unmissable opportunity.
Entering the home from the large tarmac driveway, you arrive in the spacious entrance hall. This space has a door to the right leading to bedroom six and a shower room. Ahead, glazed double doors lead into the central courtyard, while the hallway opens into the main family room to the left. This stunning space is truly one of the highlights of the home. Redesigned by the current owners to provide an open, elegant living space, it matches all the drama and spectacle of the stunning views it enjoys to the rear. As you first enter the space, you find the high-specification kitchen to your left. This superb collection of bespoke cabinetry includes every fitted appliance a chef could ask for, as well as a massive central island with a built-in breakfast bar. Beyond the kitchen, there is space for a substantial dining table, with a large seating area beside it. The entire glazed rear wall of the home slides aside to open out onto the terrace, creating a remarkable entertaining space that must be one of the most impressive we have had the pleasure of marketing. Continuing through the seating area, you arrive at a garden room which contains the steps down to the ground floor, as well as doors to the home office and cloakroom. Also within this area is an ingenious feature of the home: the internal entrance to the heated infinity pool. This allows the owners to access the pool directly from inside the house, adding another dimension to this superb addition to the property.
A door off the family room leads through to the remainder of this level of the home. Here, you find a formal sitting room along with two double guest bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other with a shower room adjacent, as well as the sumptuous principal suite. The principal bedroom offers a dressing area and walk-in wardrobe, along with a door leading into the recently installed en-suite bathroom. This is a superb space filled with natural light and, like the principal bedroom itself, enjoys superb sea views to the rear of the home.
On the ground floor, you find a central reception area with its own kitchen, making this space perfect for guests or a multigenerational family, along with two double bedrooms, both with their own en-suite bathrooms. This area of the home was holiday-let by the previous owners, an exciting option either when combined with the floor above or operated separately from it. There is also a steam room on this level, completing the accommodation on offer.
Externally, the property blends indoor and outdoor living to create highly usable entertaining spaces, all enjoying the stunning backdrop of the bay below. To the front, you find a private driveway separated from the lane by an electric gate, which leads down to a large parking area and two garages. There is access around both sides of the home to the stunning rear elevation. The large terrace is a superb space, providing the perfect setting from which to enjoy the breathtaking coastal outlook. At the end of the terrace, you find the heated infinity pool, which caps off this remarkable outdoor area. The garden continues down to the ground floor of the home, with access through the rear hedge leading down to the path to the beach.
