Helped keep the dream alive
It took 9 months after our initial offer to finally move into our barn conversion in Pembrokeshire. Callum helped us keep the dream alive after we had a few offers on our own house which didnt go anywhere. He remained in contact with us the whole time and was always available, even after we moved in. He helped push the sale on when it got stuck and we would say the service received was more personalised compared to the usual estate agents, which made the process a little bit less painful. Personalities matter
Callum and James we’re always personable and willing to make themselves available. We encountered a couple of tricky challenges along the way but with regular communication those were overcome. Whilst the legal process seems lengthy and invites frustration in reality the entire timeline from viewing to completion was reasonable. Their personalities and attention to us as buyers as well as to their selling clients reminds me of a good reason why I am returning home to Wales.

We had spoken to the usual suspects before we spoke to Country Living and had not been impressed, but as soon as we met James we knew they were right for us. We had a clear idea of what we wanted to achieve and what the key selling points were. James listened to us and was fully onboard – rather than telling us to do something different that was easier for them. We were further impressed by James’ unique approach to marketing our property, which emphasized its key selling points and differentiated it in a busy market. Others have now copied the style, but not with the same polished finish. We had some hiccups along the way, as sometimes happens, but James (and team) were fully supportive even helping manage the agents in our onward purchase where they could. James and team were there to get us across the line at the end and have stayed in touch since as an after service, but we hope also as friends. Recently we took note of new for sale signs in our area from the above Company. Then a property nearby was sold through Country Living, that prompted me to check the house sales in our area and it was apparent that Country Living was behind most of the high end sales. We then received a mail shot from them regarding our property which we followed up. From the first phone call to the detailed email we received summarising our discussions the service was first class. The phone call was taken by Callum who arranged the appointment for a convenient date and emailed to confirm. James Skudder arrived promptly for the appointment having rung beforehand to confirm. He then took all the time required to view the property and grounds( it was very wet and windy) even though at this point James knew we would not be proceeding with a sale. James was thorough and detailed with us in the discussions about the property and summarised this in his follow up email. From the first meeting with James, his professionalism was all too clear to see. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the current property market was evident. The video and photographs covered every aspect of the property, together with James’ commentary, the selling of the property was obviously his priority. Throughout all viewings, and then the sale process, both James and Callum showed exceptional professionalism, to be trustworthy, and there was continual communication and updates on the situation and process. Their attitude definitely took away a lot of the stress and frustrations. The hamper received at the end, to celebrate the completion of sale, was a lovely idea and very much appreciated. A cut above all other estate agents when it comes to presentation
It was a roller coaster ride to buy our dream home. However, James and Callum were with us throughout by helping us achieve the house. The presentation of the house on line was without question first class. Customer service was exemplary. Champagne and a high end hamper was most welcome. Without the help we received from this company I wound not be sitting in our home as I write this review. Every text and phone call was answered promptly.
