Ardwyn is approached over a shared driveway that has panoramic views and leads you down to the gated gravel drive that takes you to the property. There is a large parking area next to the main home with plenty of space for Ardwyn and the cottages. Here you will find two large wood stores, one built of stone and one of wood. Ardwyn enjoys a gated garden that surrounds the home and offers numerous spaces to sit out and enjoy. To the western side there is an area of hard standing, currently used for seating, with an outside lavatory in the corner of the garden nestled under the magnificent beech tree. To the eastern side of the home, you find a lovely enclosed garden with established fruit trees and a greenhouse, with all parts of the gardens enjoying picturesque views over the valley.
Both of the cottages enjoy their own outdoor areas with privacy from the main house and each other. Going beyond the properties you find a pretty enclosed garden, a vegetable plot, a delightful area with adult and child swings and a path that leads uphill and then meanders through the mature bluebell woodland above the home.
There is a large field above this woodland which has never been treated with any pesticides or fertilisers and would make for the perfect base for a smallholding. The field also offers exceptional views over the valley and is a wonderful space to enjoy for all the family.
At the edge of the field, you find the charming large barn which has recently had a new roof and has been reclad in wide, waney edge timber boards. The barn offers excellent dry storage, has a water supply, electricity and a designated pump room to the rear to service the bore hole. The barn has its own access onto the shared driveway for agricultural usage.
